What is the iRiTech Platform?
A suite of tools for Caribbean event organisers and businesses: IrIPass for ticketing and event management, G8Pass for gate scanning and entry control, and IrITrack (coming soon) for staff attendance tracking.
Which countries do you support?
We're built for Jamaica first — phone verification currently covers Jamaican numbers only (876 and 658 area codes). More territories are on the roadmap.
Do I need to download an app to use IrIPass?
Organisers can manage everything from the web dashboard at iripass.com. Attendees use the IrIPass mobile app to hold tickets, and gate staff use the G8Pass app to scan them.
Pricing & Credits
How do credits work?
Every account gets 50 free credits on sign-up. Issuing a ticket costs 1–5 credits depending on the event's security tier — credits are deducted the moment a ticket is actually issued, not when you publish the event.
What happens to my free trial credits?
The 50-credit welcome pack is granted once per account when you sign up. It doesn't renew or repeat.
Can I buy more credits?
Yes — credit packs start at J$15/credit, with volume discounts down to J$10/credit at higher quantities. Every credit works for every event tier.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits stay in your account until you spend them.
Events & Tickets
How do I create an event?
From the web dashboard, click "New Event," choose a security tier, and add your ticket types. Publishing is free — you're only charged credits as tickets are actually issued.
Can attendees buy tickets directly?
Direct ticket sales from event listings are coming soon, pending online payment integration. Today, organisers issue tickets and distribute them by email, WhatsApp, or claim link.
What if scanning a QR code fails at the gate?
Every ticket also has a short manual lookup code (e.g. IRPT-2026-06-20-75-AB12) gate staff can type in instead of scanning.
Can a ticket be used more than once?
Yes — ticket types can be configured for multiple uses or admissions, and tickets stay scannable for re-entry and item redemption until the event officially ends.
Security Tiers
What are the 4 security tiers?
Tier 1 (Basic) covers admission and re-entry only. Tier 2 (Standard) adds multiple admission levels, group tickets, and up to 2 extra items per ticket. Tier 3 (Premium) adds a rotating QR code that refreshes every 60 seconds and up to 5 items. Tier 4 (High Security) adds an ID-check prompt at the gate and up to 10 items.
Which tier should I choose?
Tier 1–2 suits community events, fundraisers, and cook-outs. Tier 3–4 suits concerts, large paid events, or anywhere fraud prevention matters more.
Account & Support
How do I delete my account?
From the IrIPass app, go to Profile and select Delete Account. This is permanent and can't be undone.
I didn't get my one-time code. What do I do?
Check your email's spam folder first — codes are sent by email, not SMS, today. You can request a new code after a short cooldown.
